I will be breaking down what happens when you don’t have time for your health in this post. In my experience, we often only think we don’t have enough time.
I can imagine you thinking what does she mean? I work 50 + hours a week, I have kids, I have other family commitments and I have a kitchen renovation going on. How am I imagining that I don’t have time?
I have so much going on! now is not the right time to start working on my health.
I think 90% of new clients say this and sometimes old ones as well but rarely.
It will prevent you from taking action and therefore prevent you from being and feeling healthy.
It prevents you from having a huge sense of well-being that comes with a foundation of simple healthy habits that integrates with your life and that you can rely on when life happens.
You will say once this is over and things have calmed down then I’ll get going.
Once things have calmed down then you have the time and energy for the BIG changes you think you will have to do.
But most likely that busy period is often followed shortly after by another busy period
Big heads up here:
It’s the small consistent changes and habits that will carry your health and have the biggest impact on your life and wellbeing. The small things can have life-changing benefits. 🙌
Small simple habits done consistently get RESULTS, not perfection.
That we don’t have TIME is a big midset obstacle for many.
Of course, it is relevant to some degree but only because we think being fit and healthy looks a certain way or is done a certain way.
You know what happens when you don’t have enough time for your health. As always you have a choice and there is not a right or wrong one either. You just need to be comfortable with your choice.
However, I can show you how time is not a real obstacle for you to be and feel healthy. It’s actually super simple.
As a takeaway exercise on this topic, think of the simplest thing you can do for your health. Make it as small as you can. If you think this is so simple and easy it’s ridiculous, then you are on the right track.
