Is the though of scaling back on exercise a bit unsettling to you?
I get these concerns but they are thoughts and fears that can hold you back. And can trigger you to do too much.
Now, I’m also talking about having a balance between exercise and recovery. More is not better when it comes to exercise by default. But if you are someone who relates to the though examples above or similar then this is a post for you.
The concept of working smarter not harder works well here. And since I always promote long term and sustainable health I always take into consideration the fun accept and the mental recovery we need from exercising as well. All to maintain a healthy relation ship with how health and exercise is done.
Scaling back on exercise is not for everyone and but it might be a thing at some point for some people.
I’m curious.
If you could do any sport, exercise movement practice what would that be? And you don’t have to stick to one.
I would love to know.
All right have a nice day

P.S
Actually I have a story for you.
I had a client a couple years a go who where a keen swimmer. Not professional but someone who has been swimming and training since being a kid. He still liked swimming and how that made him feel but I asked home is there a sport you would like to do.
He: Yes I would love to do figure skating.
My though where: Who new
We didn’t dig deeper into that at that time so I don’t know if he entertained the idea of actually trying it out as and adult.
Can be a scary thing to do as an adult. Ive heard a number of times – I don’t want to be the old person amongst teenagers.
And I actually do get that. But sometimes if we dig we can find adult beginner classes for nearly everything.
