Can your health goals be to just feel good?
Of course it can.
You can also have smaller goals like running more frequent, or a certain distance, lifting a certain weight or being better at a sport.
What drives me a lot is my anticipation of how I will feel from doing a certain activity.
I have also experienced how anticipating how hard things will be can dampen the whole experience.
I have also seen how anticipating the uncomfortable feeling can lead to not taking action.
To just switch the switch is not realistic.
But you can learn how to use anticipation as your best form of motivation.
👉By focusing on good feelings.
👉By modifying activities so that they are realistic to your daily life.
👉 By choosing activities you like the experience of.
👉By having proper recovery.
👉 By implementing – Value – sustainable – integrations.
It will become easier and eventually effortless for you.
You will have a huge sense of well-being and you will feel strong and resilient.
There is no doubt.
Goals in general is considered important and it is the same for health goals. The reason why I did this post is because I often come across people who assumes that a health goal is weight, performance or look based. You can have those as goals of course but when I work with people we look further ahead. We focus on long term and sustainable health and often after a bit of digging we discover that we want to feel good.
So if we only focus on a weight or performance goal and don’t take into consideration if we enjoy working towards that goal, we wont feel good. This circumstance will make things a hundred times harder and it doesn’t show you how effortless and rewarding it can be.
You will get updates when there is a new blog post up, tips and advice on how to invest in your health..
