Tromb wanted to provide employees with practical tools for managing stress, energy and movement in everyday life. The goal was to create a shared understanding of how small, sustainable habits can support long-term health and wellbeing.
The initiative focused on making health practical and achievable. Rather than promoting major lifestyle changes, the workshops highlighted how small actions, consistently repeated, can have a meaningful impact on wellbeing over time.
"We gained a broader understanding of how stress management, nutrition and exercise are connected — and how small, sustainable choices in everyday life can make a significant difference over time."
"Ellen is pedagogical, present and knowledgeable, with an ability to make health concrete and relevant without it feeling preachy."
Ahead of the summer holiday period, LKAB wanted to provide employees with inspiration and practical tools to stay physically active when everyday routines change. Like during vacations and periods without structure.
The session was built around the idea that health benefits do not require perfection. The focus was on lowering the threshold to physical activity by highlighting the minimum recommended activity levels for health, exploring different ways to stay active, and helping participants find an approach that works for them.
The lecture sparked engagement and discussion around exercise, motivation, and how to stay consistent when life looks different from usual. Conversations continued afterwards around topics such as strength training, training load, injuries, and how to adapt exercise to individual needs and circumstances.
A lecture on stress and recovery aimed at helping employees better understand how stress affects the body and how everyday habits influence energy, recovery, and sleep.
The goal was to make stress tangible and practical. Participants learned what happens in the body during periods of stress and how simple strategies throughout the day can create better conditions for recovery and quality sleep in the evening.
Participants particularly appreciated the connection between physiology and everyday situations they could easily recognize from their own work lives. The combination of increased understanding and practical tools led to engaged discussions about stress, sleep, and recovery.
